The hysteresis curves are represented by the first positive part of five real-root curves (Fig. 2.17). The locus of the antinodal A-points is a biquadratic curve (Fig. 2.17 Dotted line). All these curves are determined from (2.59a) and set (2.59b) with coefficient values a1 = 7.65 10—3 cm2 • daN—1

In order to achieve the best resolution of curvature control, this hysteresis compensation model is included in the VCM curvature closed-loop control system at the same level as the positioning control of the cat's eye translation.
