theatre rather than waiting for the DVD.

IMAX is a unique large-screen movie format requiring special projection, and only certain theatres are equipped for it—

just a dozen or so in Canada. Of these, not all of them are showing the film. The following IMAX theatres are screening Hubble 3D: the Canadian Museum of

Civilization, Gatineau, Quebec; the Montréal Science Centre; IMAX des Galeries de la Capitale, Quebec City; the Ontario Science Centre,Toronto; the IMAX Theatre Winnipeg; and the National Geographic IMAX Theatre,Victoria, British Columbia. Southwestern Ontario residents can also catch it across the border at the Detroit Science Center or at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. For showtimes, check the individual theatres on-line. More than 40 other IMAX theatres in the United States are showing Hubble 3D.

IMAX, like no other medium before it, vividly captures the vastness of space and the breathtaking beauty of Earth from space. It's as if it were specifically created as a canvas to display the saga of mankind's exploration of space. Apparently, Hubble 3D is the last IMAX production that will include footage shot in space by astronauts. See it if you can.
