Michael Greaney is a member of the Webb Society and an award member of the Auckland Astronomical Society. His astronomical interests lie mainly in the field of spherical astronomy, with a particular interest in double stars. He has written a number of articles on the subject which have appeared in publications in the UK, the USA and New Zealand. Outside of astronomy, Michael works as a domestic manager (looking after house and home for his working wife and three school children).
