Total lunar eclipses: 2001 to 2025

Below is a list of total lunar eclipses until 2025. The region where the Moon will be at the zenith at totality is noted. Generally, people located 7,500 to 8,000 kilometers east and west of this geographical location will witness all phases of the eclipse.

2008 February 21: Western Hemisphere

2010 December 21: western-Western Hemisphere

2011 June 15: Eastern Hemisphere

Moon at zenith at totality: east of Madagascar

December 10: eastern-Eastern Hemisphere

Moon at zenith at totality: western North Pacific Ocean, Northern Mariana Islands

2014 April 15: Western Hemisphere

October 8: western-Western Hemisphere

September 7: Eastern Hemisphere
