Hasse

1993 OA4. Discovered 1993 July 20 by E. W. Elst at La Silla.

Named for Peter Hasse (1585-1640), the first well-known organist to be appointed at the famous Marienkirche in Luobeck. On his death, he was succeeded by Franz Tunder {see planet (7871)}, who, according to the Luobeck custom, married Hasse's eldest daughter. Another of his daughters married the famous organist Nicolaus Bruhns {see planet (5127)}. (M 31025)
