Kienle

1942 RF. Discovered 1942 Sept. 11 by K. Reinmuth at Heidelberg.

Named in memory of Hans Kienle (1895-1975), an astrophysicist, who served as Director of several German observatories. He was director of the Heidelberg-Konigstuhl Observatory from 1950-1962. His work on spectrophotometry is well-known. He was president of IAU Commission 36 from 1955 to 1958. (M 4155)
