1991 PQ10. Discovered 1991 Aug. 7 by H. E. Holt at Palomar.

Named in honor of Alessandro Morbidelli (1966- ). From Cuneo, in extreme western Italy, he joined the solar system dynamics group in Nice (50 km to the south) as an H. Poincarae {see planet (2021)} postdoctoral fellow and became a permanent staff member in 1993. Morbidelli's main interests are the theory of dynamical systems and resonances in the solar system. For his pioneering work on the overlapping of mean-motion and secular resonances, Morbidelli was awarded the bronze medal of the CNRS in 1995. (M 27460)
