Named in honor of William L. Quaide for his extraordinary record of scientific achievement in furthering the understanding of our solar system; his many years of service to NASA and the scientific community in support of solar system exploration; his dedication to his work, his personal and professional integrity, which have earned him the trust and respect of his colleagues and friends.
