1986 VU. Discovered 1986 Nov. 3 by A. Mrkos at Klet.

Named in memory of Zdenek Horsky (1929-1988), outstanding Czech historian of medieval and renaissance astronomy and authority on Kepler {see planet (1134)}. Horskya also studied megalithic localities in Bohemia, explained the cosmological architectural symbolism of the gothic Charles Bridge and the New Town of Prague and dated the origin of the famous astronomical clock on the Old Town Hall in Prague.
