The relativistic Fe K line in the mean X-ray spectra of type 1 and type 2 AGN were derived by . Using a 770 ks XMM-Newton survey of the Lockman Hole, the averaged spectrum shows a strong relativistic Fe K line profile. A Laor line profile with an inner disc radius smaller than the last stable orbit of a Schwarzschild black hole is found to be consistent with the observations. This indicates, that the average black hole has a significant spin. The equivalent widths of the broad relativistic lines range between 400 and 600 eV (see Fig. 22.11).
