Quantum discrimination

The postulate discriminates strongly against high frequencies. The unit of energy, and therefore of energy exchange, becomes greater, and 'energy transactions' become more and more difficult! Planck assumed that an electric oscillator will emit radiation of oscillator is the recipient of energy, it can only accept an exact number of such 'bundles'. To make a classical analogy; in a limited economy, a person who can only deal in, say, 1000-dollar bills will find it difficult to carry on business!
