Notes:

Skylab 4, the third manned mission, set a world endurance record held until 1978 (Salyut 6 1st resident crew - 96 days). Gibson jointly held the US record for one flight/career total until 1995 (Norman Thagard on Mir - 115 days)

Skylab 3, the second manned mission, set a world endurance record held until Skylab 4. STS-9 carried the Spacelab 1 long-module configuration

Musgrave became the only scientist-astronaut to fly more than two missions (he flew six) and the only person to have flown on each of the orbital class Shuttle vehicles (Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour). STS 51-F flew the Spacelab 2 pallet-only configuration. STS-80 set the record for the longest Shuttle flight

Skylab 2, the first manned mission, set a world endurance record until surpassed by Skylab 3

As well as flying on Spacelab 1 (STS-9), Parker flew on the Astro 1 mission (STS-35)

STS 51-B also carried the Spacelab 3 long-module configuration

During Apollo 17, Schmitt became the only scientist-astronaut to walk on the Moon (12th man). He also stayed for 75 hours 00 minutes on the lunar surface and 72 hours 44 minutes in lunar orbit during the mission

STS 51-F carried the Spacelab 2 pallet-only configuration
