EPSIloN (e) sculptoris 5 A binary that can be separated with a small telescope. Its components, of 5th and 9th magnitudes, have an orbital period of over 1,000 years.

NGc 55 5 An edge-on spiral galaxy, similar in size and shape to NGC 253 but not quite as easy to see.

NGc 253 K 5 A spiral galaxy seen nearly edge-on so that it appears highly elongated. Under good sky conditions, it can be picked up with binoculars and small telescopes. Nearby lies the fainter and smaller globular cluster NGC 288.
